Between March 2016 and October 2019 I enjoyed a wide-ranging role at Precision Pneumatics Limited leading on marketing for the business and Wearside Pneumatics Limited, which was Precision’s sister company. While I did write quite a lot of niche material, such as this Case Study on a purpose-built compressed air installation, the role was far broader than that.
I managed the websites of both companies, designed and procured marketing materials such as pop-up banners and even managed the creation of new vehicle liveries! The challenge – whether writing a case study for the website or creating a flyer for a specific product or service – was to ensure that the language used was both accurate and accessible. In addition, when creating copy for the websites, there was a need to optimise it for Search Engines without losing impact or obscuring the key messages.
